I have a professional acquaintance, Amy Wiltbank, who runs a creative design firm in Portland. Like myself, she works for a company, but definitely lets her creative side loose with her own designs. She’s definitely got skills, which are well represented in her work. I had the privilege of performing the back end work for her website which she designed herself (www.westeggdesign.com) and will continue to utilize and and show her talent.

Amy does a little bit of everything, including high quality graphic design. If you need some logo, banner, or graphic work with incredibly professional results, contact Amy by heading over to her site. Plus, it always nice to promote friends in the business!

Let me preface my post with this. There isn’t an agenda I’m pushing here, just a blurb about what we did on Sunday. We went to see Barack Obama at Waterfront Park in Portland on Sunday and oh what a crowd it was. Estimates were around 72,000 people packed on the Waterfront, not including all the people on boats! The previous high was 35K in Philadelphia this year. It certainly helped that it was a crystal clear day in the mid 80′s without a cloud in the sky. With the music blasting Arrested Development’s “Everyday People”, followed by some Jazz and Bruce Springsteen, Obama came out to a crazy crowd, excited that their vote might make a difference come May 20th. Anyway, without getting into politics, here’s the pictures…
