Portland Sets Crowd Record 4 Obama
Let me preface my post with this. There isn’t an agenda I’m pushing here, just a blurb about what we did on Sunday. We went to see Barack Obama at Waterfront Park in Portland on Sunday and oh what a crowd it was. Estimates were around 72,000 people packed on the Waterfront, not including all the people on boats! The previous high was 35K in Philadelphia this year. It certainly helped that it was a crystal clear day in the mid 80’s without a cloud in the sky. With the music blasting Arrested Development’s “Everyday People”, followed by some Jazz and Bruce Springsteen, Obama came out to a crazy crowd, excited that their vote might make a difference come May 20th.
